Next Gen Pickleball Academy coaches two Saturday youth leagues indoors at The Pickl Park in Frederick, September 19 – October 24, 2026. The YMCA of Frederick County and the City of Frederick's recreation department also list pickleball programs, so check their current schedules for youth times.

The Saturday leagues at The Pickl Park

The Pickl Park is an indoor pickleball club in Frederick, and Next Gen coaches 6-week youth leagues there. Every session is indoors on cushioned courts, so all six Saturdays run — no rain dates, no cancelled weeks, no weather texts.

Kid's Drill and Play (ages 8–13, Saturdays 2:00–3:00 PM): A fun, high-energy six-week season of drilling and playing pickleball. It's a great entry into the sport for a new or beginner player — no prior experience needed, equipment provided, and lots of chances to hit and move.

Youth League (ages 10+, Saturdays 3:00–4:30 PM): Six weeks of weekly meetups: we drill and practice for the first half of each session, then play games for the second half. It's for players who already keep a rally going — serving and returning, dropping, driving, volleying, and moving around the court. Across the season they'll add more advanced technique, court positioning, and shot selection.

The YMCA of Frederick County runs pickleball at its downtown Frederick location, and the City of Frederick's recreation department lists pickleball classes and indoor play. Both set their own schedules, ages, and prices, so check with them directly — we don't run programs at either.
