Youth pickleball in Montgomery Village.
This fall, Next Gen Pickleball Academy brings its coaching to the Apple Ridge Pickleball Courts — an intro class in August, then two six-week Thursday sessions for kids and teens ages 8–16. Every level is welcome; courts are grouped by skill and age so every kid gets real reps.

Two ways to jump in at Apple Ridge.
Start with the one-evening intro class, roll into the fall sessions, or do both. All classes run at the Apple Ridge Pickleball Courts in Montgomery Village, MD.
MVF Youth Pickleball INTRO Class – by Next Gen Pickleball
· 6:00–7:00 PM · 1 class
$8 per class
Kids learn the pickleball basics — rallying, serve and return, scoring — and get into real games. All skills welcome; courts are grouped by skill and age. We also assess your child's bracket for the Fall session classes: Red/Orange (beginner and advanced beginner) or Green/Yellow (intermediate and advanced).
MVF Youth Pickleball Classes – Fall Session I
Thursdays, – · 6 classes

$90 resident, per session$100 non-resident, per session
Structured, fun, focused sessions with routines that build confidence through rallying with like-skilled kids. Players are assessed in the first session and placed into one of four skill brackets (Red/Orange or Green/Yellow). Red and Orange are still learning to rally and get into games; Green and Yellow play games and focus on strategy.

Same format as Session I — structured, fun, focused sessions building confidence through rallying with like-skilled kids, in the four skill brackets (Red/Orange or Green/Yellow). Join for one session or both.

We coach the same Red → Orange → Green → Yellow pathway we use across the academy. Red and Orange players are still learning to rally and get into games; Green and Yellow players play games and focus on strategy.
